Basic settings

• SQL server - name, IP address and name of instance of MS SQL server used for repository (use format server-name\instance-name). Objects and tabels of databse server must be prior created by Application Setup. During the installation process you create also a database user account used to connect, and filled to the SQL user and SQL password fields.
• You can select a Language from the list. Application changes the user interface language, but the documentation and help file must be downloaded from application provider web.
• Log Level - level of logging details - 1 basic logging - 3 detail logging. If requiered, logs can be sent to SysLog server. Check FWD to Syslog and fill in SysLog Server address or name. To distinguish SwitchBackup logs from other application logs on SysLog server, you can fill in desired prefix for syslog messages SysLog Prefix.
