Main Menu System - Setting and the tab Advanced settings
- Max thread count number of parallel backup process (see Backup all Devices in Domain). Suitable count depends on current installation (workstation and database server performance, network throughput asw.), recomended value is 5.
- Database connection timeout number of seconds to wait for database server operation, default setting is 30
- Device connection timeout number of seconds to wait to connect to device, if not connected straightway - default value is 4 seconds
Too high timeout causes slowing the application, include temporary "freezing" during tasks applayed on the unattached devices. Too low values can cause "missing" tasks made on devices with slowly responses.
